Iharam
The beautiful Journey of Umrah starts from Ihram. Pilgrims do the niya of Umrah and wear the Ihram cloths before reaching the Meqat boundary. Entering the state of Ihram requires that one’s body be clean.
Ihram for men consists of two pieces of cloth called the Izar and the Rida. The part of the Ihram, Rida, is draped over the shoulder like a shawl. The Izar covers the lower body and is wrapped around the waist.
Women can wear an abaya or their normal dress as Ihram. Pilgrims in the state of Ihram should avoid the prohibited activities like scratching the skin, cutting nails or harming any living being etc. Engaging in these prohibited activities breaks the state of Ihram, rendering your Umrah impermissible. After entering in the state of Ihram offer two rakats of Salah and then cross the Meeqat boundary.

Tawaf
Following the Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, enter the Haram with your right foot and perform Tawaf around the Kaaba in an anti-clockwise direction. Pilgrims complete seven rounds around the Kaaba, beginning each round at the Black Stone.
Men are recommended to perform the first three rounds briskly (Ramal), while the remaining four rounds may be done at a slower pace. Women may complete all seven rounds at a normal pace. After completing Tawaf, offer two rak‘ahs at the station of Ibrahim (Maqam Ibrahim). Then proceed to Zamzam, tap the water, and drink from it. This completes your Tawaf.”

Halq / Taqsir:
After completing seven rounds of Sa’i between Safa and Marwa, male pilgrims shave their heads, which is called Halq. Female pilgrims, on the other hand, trim a small portion of their hair, approximately the length of a fingertip, which is called Taqsir.
After performing Halq or Taqsir, your Umrah is complete. You may then change into your normal clothes, prepare to perform a second Umrah, or perform Umrah on behalf of someone else.
